Beverly McKee, PhD, LCSW
Dr. Beverly McKee is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in independent practice, experienced in treating individuals, couples and families and specializing in the treatment of mood/anxiety disorders, PTSD, childhood sexual abuse, relationship problems, grief and loss, adjustment disorders, codependency, and women’s issues.
Dr. McKee’s graduate degrees in clinical social work were received from the University of TN: her Master’s degree in Memphis (where she was president of her class) and her Ph.D. in Knoxville. She is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and is on most insurance panels.

Her specific interests are cognitive/schema therapy and mindfulness with an emphasis on wellness Her experience includes hospital and day treatment programs with adolescents and their families. She has been in private practice at the Northshore Group since 1996 and presently works with adults in individual and couple therapy.
In addition to co-authoring/publishing a chapter in a book on family therapy, she co-facilitated a women’s support group for 15 years and currently facilitates a men’s group. She has conducted training/workshops at conferences, including the following topics: stress management, women’s psychological issues, Emotional Intelligence training, assertiveness training, and the IFS model of therapy.
