Angela N. Reno, PsyD

Licensed clinical psychologist in independent practice, experienced in the assessment and treatment of infants, children, adolescents and young adults. Dr. Reno specializes in the differential diagnosis of Autistic Spectrum Disorders in infancy through adulthood, in the comprehensive treatment of disorders of childhood and adolescence, and in consultation with schools and community agencies for program development and educational/treatment planning.

Dr. Reno graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1988 and obtained masters and doctoral degrees from Nova Southeastern University in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. She completed an APA approved child and adolescent internship at the University of Rochester / Strong Memorial Hospital in New York and an APA residency at Children’s Hospital in Columbus, Ohio.

Dr. Reno has worked as a consultant to multiple school districts and in outpatient child / adolescent therapy and evaluation settings over the past twenty five years. Her private practice focuses on the evaluation and treatment of children as young as one year through early adulthood. Therapeutic approaches are pragmatic and eclectic, but draw from behavioral, developmental and psychodynamic influences. Parents / caregivers can often be integrally involved in the treatment process. Frequent areas of assessment and treatment focus are developmental issues, ADHD, adjustment disorders, childhood trauma, coping with complex medical issues, Autistic Spectrum Disorders, early onset psychotic disorders, anxiety disorders, and mood disorders.
